Rare 8mm Film Footage of Coral Castle

A few months ago I was able to purchase a roll of 8mm film containing some short footage of Coral Castle from way back.  A friend helped me get it converted to a new digital format. It is only 4 minutes long.



The footage was taken by Jack Stark who passed away in 2004.
In 1953, Stark opened a public relations business in Coral Gables. Stark's company also did PR work for Monkey Jungle, Parrot Jungle and Vizcaya. When President Harry S. Truman visited Vizcaya it was Jack Stark who gave him the tour.
